Ed Soul is a karaoke host, DJ, vocalist, and entertainer who creates welcoming, interactive experiences for guests throughout the San Antonio metropolitan area and for online audiences around the world.
His approach combines professional hosting, audience participation, quality sound, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping people feel confident behind the microphone.
From Singer to Entertainment Host
Ed’s journey began at Chelsea’s Street Pub in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he first discovered karaoke as a young performer. While singing with a band, he wanted more opportunities to rehearse and strengthen his stage presence. That search for additional practice eventually led him from participating in karaoke to hosting his own shows.
What started as a way to develop as a vocalist grew into a passion for creating experiences where other people could perform, connect, and enjoy the spotlight.
National and International Competition Experience
In 2010, Ed earned the title of USA Male Champion in the Karaoke World Championships. He went on to represent the United States in Moscow, Russia, where he finished fourth in the world.
That experience shaped his understanding of performance, preparation, and audience engagement. Today, he brings those lessons to every show—while keeping the atmosphere approachable, supportive, and fun for singers of every experience level.
